Most professional photographers are using Lightroom and they’re getting great results very fast in Lightroom. I think we should acknowledge this fact.
Thank you for highlighting () this. Good highlight reconstruction is a must in any raw converter for me. Sadly, it’s the only thing holding me back from using darktable. I’m all RawTherapee 5.8 (personal projects) and Lightroom (work) at the moment. I’m not a developer, but having something like this in dt would be amazing. BTW, I’ve been experimenting with Sigmoid builds of darktable though and I was very pleasantly surprised. Generally I’m getting better results than with Filmic RGB with less time consumed. Win-win. Do you say that as a developer, or a user (or both)?
