Hi all … this was a very vivid rainbow (with a bit of a secondary one) due to generally dark cloud cover and low sun angle. The bight red tiles are a distraction, not to mention the TV antenna. I was proficient enough with neither retouch nor spot correction modules to achieve results I was happy with to remove the antenna, and I just masked the red tiles and turned down saturation and brightness a little.
I’m having the opposite problem: Fence and roof are to dark and had to lift them a bit. Arguably it needs to be lifted a bit more.
About the removal of items/dust bunnies: It does depend a bit on the situation and/or items but in general I use GIMP/Krita to do this. A few minor dust bunnies or a small item can be done from the RAW editor, but anything else needs to be done in a more specialized tool. If printing the end-result is involved there’s no discussion about that in my opinion.
Lens compensation + defringe of purple edges + demosaic changed to remove jagged edges (see roof tiles) and a bit cooler temperature to remove purple cast in the skies.
