Processing RAWs for HDR displays in Darktable

I primarily use darktable to edit, and I’m wondering if there is an end-to-end way to create an image that is suitable for display in an actual HDR monitor device, such as high end monitors and modern phones. I believe the standard darktable workflow assumes that the output will be an SDR image, hence the tonemapping, and I have a feeling that for a truly HDR standards compliant image it needs to be in linear light space (which already is violated in many of dt modules, such as filmic) and I be…
