RawTherapee support of Olympus TG-7 ORF files

OK I can see the WB multipliers in the “maker’s notes” tab of my photo manager, not in the EXIF.
I think i understand what you say, but my poor knowledge prevents me to go further.

dnglab latest version supports TG-7 and succeeds in converting ORF to DNG.
As you may see in the screenshots, DNG file opened with RT shows better than ORF, and it may be noticed that temp and tint values are quite different : should it be considered normal ?
Another difference : metadata given in the “maker’s notes” section has disappeared in DNG file. Maybe corresponding informations are elsewhere in the file ?

I think those DNG values are what you get in DT so I guess this is close… I dont think the meta data give the temp just the WB coefficients… so maybe you have your solution now at least until RT gets support for those images???

I think so. Thanks to you all for your informed advice :+1:

Not so informed  But I tried to be curious and see what could be done….

Turns out it is a problem with recognizing the CFA pattern. The change in brand from “Olympus” to “OM Digital Solutions” caused the raw decoder to not read the pattern from the file. I have proposed a fix for it and initial support for the TG-7.
