The thing is that I have been travelling jsut with the Sony RX100VA for the last couple of years and now, with just a little bit of thikness I can take much better photos using just the kit lens. Right now I’m using just the Viltrox, but I always carry the kit lens with me…just in case.

Thanks for the reply. Now that you mention it, I find that at 16mm or even at 11mm (with the ultra-wide Sony lens), the distortion correction makes the borders look weird to me. I would only use that correction for architecture, but not for anything else. Especially in landscape, I don’t like seeing all the mountains flattened away at the borders — so creepy.
