Release of G'MIC 3.5

I got an error when I tried to install the latest (3.5.3) G’MIC version. It is missing the libnghttp3-9.dll.

Windows 11, GIMP 2.10.36

With Gimp 2.10.38n it should be OK.

With the 3.5.3 GMIC-qt version
How can I find the path of the plugin once it is installed. Gimp is not recognising it yet because I haven’t added it to the plugin folder in preferences yet. The RC3 one, although I didn’t need to with the 2.10 version.
I get this error message when I try to initialize it

I restarted my computer - same,
Reinstalled from the same download - same,
Deleted the download, uninstalled, redownloaded and reinstalled - restarted my computer and I still got the same error message saying also that the plugin crashed.
Shut down my computer and it is still the same

The path is displayed by the installer during the installation, and it even proposes to change it if you want. Try deinstalling/reinstalling to check that.
Note that if you used GIMP 2.10 then switched to GIMP 3 RC3 recently on the same computer, there are high chances that the installer stills keep the default plug-in folder of GIMP 2.10.

Why then would my Gimp have the GMIC then in the filters list not greyed out? It’s obviously there just not registering.

Don’t want to get rid of 2.10 until 3 is stable, as I use it almost every day to do photo editing.
