Reverse the deprecation of defringe?

Terry can you show one… I just tried on the linked one and defringe was by far the least effective…

I don’t agree. Because the extreme settings required in the Lens Correction and CA module to take care of the leaves causes fringing in other parts of the photo, which Defringe then helps to clean up.

Thank you for the tip! I didn’t know about the two TCA sliders but now I see what they do and finally the leaves look acceptable. It still leaves areas where Defringe helps taking care of the final edges, though, so I still don’t think that module should have been deprecated (perhaps just a warning, like when you try to adjust the temperature in white balance module while also having the color calibration module active): [image] So now I’m going to investigate how the other people who posted …
