If you use Nikon HE compression Raw files, you can handle these files with ART with some modification, and apply Spektrafilm simulation to them on ART.

ART can not read Nikon High Efficiency RAW files

Well for some cameras people could reverse engineer those compression formats. but there are various formats for Fuji/Canon/Nikon and others where devs weren’t so lucky so far. You would also need to check which library is used for loading those NEF raws. e.g. it might be libraw, in which case someone would need to talk to the developer of that.
