I should add the preview became unsharp in much the same when using the hack that @gwbarn shared.

How about dragging ‘enlarge canvas’ module before lens correction, then setting lens correction ‘scale’ to 2?

So perhaps it’s an intrinsic thing to upsizing in the module pipeline.
