Does lensfun really calibrate every combination of camera and lens? That sounds impractical, even sticking within eco-systems.
Lensfun does not calibrate. It is a database. People do the calibrations and provide the data to add it to the database. There is also a service that you provide the images and they run the python to determine the correction. The corrections are grouped by sensor size.
And let’s get back on topic. Please test dt before release in about 1 month.
I’m sorry, calibrate was not the word, but I’m still sure they don’t require each combination of camera to be tested with each sensor, to that means that this might be on topic if it’s DT rather than lens fun that’s deciding to filter out off brand lenses from cameras.
Very minor thing but I think this belongs into this thread: The Tooltip for the rating filter in both lighttable and darkroom has a double border not present in the other tooltips. bazzite KDE - wayland (dt apparently still launches in X11 according to kwin debug console).
