I’ve been wanting to try stacking images to get a crisp and clear image of the moon, but I’ve yet to do it for various reason, mostly laziness.
This was shot with a Sony a6000 and AUTO Revuenon 300mm f/5.6. 140 images total, preprocessed with PIPP and stacked with AutoStakkert!, both programs ran under WINE on Manjaro.
The resulting tiff was further processed with GIMP and RawTherapee.
Not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but it is my best image of the moon, ever, by far.
