Did it in a couple of steps. Inverted colour first. Unpurpled. Inverted back the colour and green is gone.
I suspect because magenta is opposite to green

For what it may be worth, [gmic-qt-282] New filter Repair / Unpurple could apply here, a gmic-qt filter that dropped in 2.8.2.
A color-agnostic version of Unpurple could be nice.
