Use of Raw Therapee for Non-Commercial Magazines

Hello

I’d like to hear about raw Therapee’s use of non-commercial magazines.

Please tell us if there is a document that describes the difference of categories or non-commercial use.

We’re creating a book that explains the editing procedures for starry sky photography.
In this book, I would like to edit the image using Raw Therapee and explain the developed image.
The photos, procedures and settings available in Raw Therapee are my original.

This book is a non-commercial magazine.
This book is a general fanzine.

Question
Is it possible to post a screen while editing images using Raw Therapee?
Is it possible to post developed photos using Raw Therapee?

Regards from Japan
I.

The use of RawTherapee in that fashion should be OK.

Hello isse_9, RawTherapee is an open source application, that means you can use the software for a non-commercial book (or production in general) and for commercial purposes as well.
The authors may like if you mention the name of the used software in your book, but you’re not obliged to do so.

Let me ask you one more question.

Is there a document or wording in Raw Therapee that says that it can be used for commercial use, such as GIMP?
I want to know the location of the document that describes why and why there is no problem with using it.

GIMP: GIMP - Frequently Asked Questions

No, there is only the software license, which should be enough.

Hello, start RawTherapee, then open Preferences and in one of those tabs you see License. That’s the only document you need.

I was able to confirm the license from RawTherapee preferences!
