It’s been interesting to follow all the comments here over the past week. Thanks to all who have contributed. I’m about to place my order tomorrow for a new computer build, and have spec’d out an AMD card. It’s my last chance to change the configuration. Any further comments?
In this case most games are made for windows and use DirectX as its graphics API. Translation in this case is a literal translation, where it translates DirectX calls to Vulkan.
I stopped using AMD two or three years ago so I’m not that informed on the current state of OpenCL on AMD, but when I left it wasn’t that good at all, others might have more up to date info on this
