Videos do load but cannot play them in Natron. No thumb nail shownd. MP4 and MOV do not work.

As of Natron 2.4.3 we do not support Windows 7 anymore.

2.3.15 also did not come with support for Windows 7, but I provided an unsupported quickfix:

Natron-2.3.15-Win7-quickfix1.zip (3.2 MB) Completely untested as I don’t have Windows 7 available anymore, but I did use the same patch as last time, so it should work (in theory ). Remember to clear the plugin cache in Natron or else the IO plugins might not load. Also remember to set your locale accordingly, and as a final note: this is unofficial and unsupported.
