What happen to http://registry.gimp.org/ ?

Is it down? When will it be up again?
I have read somewhere that the website is static.
Anyway, I want gimp plugins resynthesizer for windows.
I found GitHub - bootchk/resynthesizer: Suite of gimp plugins for texture synthesis which is source code only. Anybody have link to binary build?

Edit: Found this

" We need to create a completely different, much more secure solution. This is going to take some time, and we’d appreciate your help. Please email to the gimp-web@ mailing list, if you want to help us."

For existing content, please see the glossary

The registry has been in read only mode for a long time. We need a better solution than the website. @Jehan has started working on something, which is awesome.

I think I posted a copy of the registry on the pixls.us github if you want to download it.

GitHub - pixlsus/registry.gimp.org_static: A wget backup of http://registry.gimp.org is the copy of the site.

@rich2005 over on the great https://www.gimp-forum.net bundled up a build of Resynthesizer you can use:

The files are here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/gwc928wmwti30g3/resynth_win_32_64.zip

Also, @Jehan has already started architected and is working on an extension system for GIMP directly from within GIMP (there will be a new website as well once I can get some time to build something for him).

Very interesting. What did you mean by extension within GIMP? Did you mean GIMP can download extension by itself?

Yep. Plugins/Scripts/Brushes (and more) will be downloadable directly from within GIMP.
