Hobbyist photographer with much to learn…

I’m retired from a career in Computing/IT and have been a long-time user and advocate of open source software. My current laptop runs Antergos, an Arch Linux variant, and for photography, I use Rapid Photo Downloader to move files from camera to disk, Darktable for raw processing, GIMP for pixel editing, and some other bits and pieces as needed. My camera is a Nikon D7100.
