It doesn’t appear apparent to me just by looking in preferences how to:
1/ Automatically delete files from an SD card when inserted;
2/ Change the folder name and structure to DD/MM/YYYY, corresponding to the date the photos were taken, and
3/ Set the app to launch when an SD card is inserted.
Finally, how would I set Pix not to launch (in favour of RPD) when a SD card is inserted.

Though it’s helped with some of the questions, I can’t seem to find answers to the following:
1/ Automatically delete files from an SD card when photos have been imported; and
2/ How would I set Pix not to launch (in favour of RPD) when a SD card is inserted.
The doc mentions that RPD requests permission from the default downloader (Pix) to take over, but does not say how to manually prevent (Pix) from launching when RPD would be my preferred default.
EDIT: I may have an answer to #2 but need to test first when I get an opportunity, however #1 the answer to #1 is still illusive.

Probably you meant elusive not illusive. In any case, that feature does not yet exist in Rapid Photo Downloader 0.9x.

I think I’ll stick with Pix and maybe reconsider once the autodelete feature has been included. Seems odd that such a handy feature hasn’t been included already.
