I took these originals, shot in the old center of Jaffo on a nice winter morning walk and decided to go sketch-like to emphasize the structures and colors. I did crop, stretch and squeeze here and there to get the composition I wanted and I also cloned out some nasty distractions where I thought I could “get away with it”. Let me know what you think by all means, I can take it!

Some nice potential playraw images here. Well done having some fun with your images.

Interesting. It looks manipulated, but you seem to have achieved what you wanted.
What tool did you use for the stretching and squeezing?
I used Darktable for all of that, Gimp for cloning out distractions and scripted Gmic for the sketch effect.
I’m really curious how you could use darktable for stretching and squeezing. Could you please give some direction for info in this?
I’ve never used such rescaling before, and haven’t realized that it may mean compressing/stretching the image, but just unconsciously had an idea that there would just be some kind of cropping taking place.
Thanks for the clarification!
