The guy on the right shows the problem with taking a coach trip to a tourist site. I spent an inordinate time waiting to get the stones and just as I pressed the shutter release, he stepped into the picture.

I like the reaching to the sky apparent in the stones.
Sought to bring out as much detail in the stones, but darkened down the sky to retain its textures.
There’s an argument to be had for keeping the tourist … giving scale … but aesthetics won out in the end.

Sorry, couldn’t help but have a bit of fun…seemed like a fine opportunity to try out the cloning tool.
I did actually edit the photo a bit using the scene referred workflow, adjusted the chroma, vibrance, crop, and the white and black ev before adjusting to taste in the tone and contrast equalizer.

Here’s my attempt. Increase the exposure and texture of the foreground and darken the sky as far as possible.
