Just came back from a lovely little walk along the nearest bit of forest. We live at the edge of a small town so fields and woods are just a few paces away. Yesterday after the sun had set I explored a new area and this morning I decided to bring the camera along.
It has been a while since I was able to just stroll and explore all by myself without family or time pressure and I relished every minute of it. There was a lot of birdsong by chiffchaff and many others. I saw deer and macro-photographed some very petite flowers. I slowly adjusted to not being inside and I was able to apprechiate the silhouettes of bare trees, beginning to bud, explored sidepaths, found beauty in natures chaos and on my way home came across a dad and his little son playing disc golf.
What a beautiful peaceful morning that was.
