I’ve made a neutral grey theme for GIMP, designed around legibility, visual simplicity and printmaking.
The default middle grey theme in GIMP is great, but I wanted something a bit easier to read at lower display brightnesses, and a bit more clean-looking, for long days in the printroom with visiting clients.
I’ve been working on it for a while and am happy enough with it now to publish a first version, so here it is ![]()
Tested mostly on Debian 13 & GNOME 48, and a tiny bit on Windows 11.
