A new source for camera profiles

I learned on Dan Margulis’s Color Theory mailing list that someone was dissatisfied with Adobe’s camera profiles and has created new dcp profiles for a wide range of cameras. Here’s the link:

Is there a license associated with these profiles? They’d probably need to be freely licensed before they could be included for distribution.

No idea- I wasn’t even thinking about distribution, just individuals downloading them on their own.

The linked thread doesn’t seem to give information on how and with what software he created the profiles. I strongly doubt that he had access to all those cameras and shot Colorcheckers with each. I suspect he just took the existing Adobe Standard DCPs and modified them in some way, e.g. with Adobe profile editor?
