Greetings!
Even so, I’m not really into cats, I have to admit, this kitten is quite cute…
My version:
Boy did I ever have to keep slapping myself on the knuckles while processing this. There’s so much temptation to go over the top (and I may still have?) but it needs to be soft and fuzzilicious…
ART 1.21.1
The challenges for me were the background parts and the eyes. Trying to subdue the bright and / or flat background areas while keeping it believable was a challenge. The eyes just beg for sharpening but I kept it to a minimum, plus just a tiny, tiny bit of RL Deconv. sharpening to a few of the foreground hairs to provide a little clarity. Also just a very slight crop. Warmed up WB and skewed a little toward a redder tint to control the influence of all the yellows / greens.
Resistance futile. 3 Local Adjustment spots in RT 5.10-rc1
Vibrance for the eyes and Warmth for the nose.
In G’MIC, downsized (Jpr Decimate; one of the best downsizing methods I know), Local Normaize Variance (enhances fur details; might be too sharp for some, but that’s what I was going for), Equalized Local Histogram (enhanced colors some), then auto leveled and did some selective denoising (Wavelet Denoising) selectively.
Count me in No offense meant, though.
