a question about Kicad 9.0 drawing and GIMP 3.0 export as ...

I installed Kicad 9.0 and GIMP 3.0 just now, I used Kicad 6.0 and GIMP 2.1 before. When I used Kicad 6.0 + GIMP 2.1, my work flow was: draw a schematic in Kicad 6.0, them Export → Drawing to Clipboard, now I have a copy on clipboard, then I Paste as → New Image in GIMP 2.1, then File → Export as xxx.png. Now, I will have a perfect image in PNG format, it was colorful and fit in the whole canvas like this (just use this pdf file as an example):

now, I got this (gray and not centralized):

Just installed bother versions of kicad, now i’ll need the design file to check what is happening.

Just to reduce the solution space a bit: I tested with KiCAD 7.x and GIMP 3.0 and it works as expected, canvas fills the entire image with a little border equal on all sides. Seems to be an issue on the KiCAD side …
