Hello and greetings to you. I have just installed Rawtherapee on my PC. I tried to see what the different functions would do with a JPEG file. I noticed some exposure functions did as expected, but in other sections nothing happened when I moved the sliders. My very basic question is: Does the file I am working on have to be a DNG file for all the functions to work? Putting it another way, can I expect that the functions will be mostly available when using JPEG files? By the way I do acknowledge the name of the software might be a dead giveaway that it is only intended for RAW files
Most functions should work on a jpeg. Make sure you’ve “turned on” the module using the power icon. You can move the sliders without the module being “on”.
