Just a question, Is this the official forum of gimp or a help and showcase forum for gimp?

I am asking this because this forum is linked nowhere on Gimps’ website and this forum also has other software sections instead of just having gimp.

It’s only supposition, but look at the different post’s date.

It seems it was, but from what I saw now the GIMP part is not active anymore, the G’MIC part is very active… Ummm no, let me re-phrase it, extremely active :wink:

They grouped other FLOSS graphic/photo software for people to have a one place help & development without the burden to run across all internet (by doing so, also have more chance to stay active together may be).

But it’s supposition, I’m new here :wink:

Gimp is great photo editing software, although the user interface has a challenging.
In addition, I recommend get a drawing tablet instead of mouse, which is more natural and efficient.
