I think there is a little bug in RT with regards to Adobe DNGs.
I use Topaz’ Photo AI to denoise images. So I write them out to DNG and then take them into RT for “the rest”.
In the newer versions of Topaz Photo AI, there is a preference to enable “Adobe DNG SDK for export”
When enabled, it also allows to compress DNGs on export (which is what I would be interested in as they are soooo big)
However, if I export a DNG from Topaz with this “Adobe SDK” switched on, RT renders it green. It doesn’t matter whether it’s compressed or not:
(compressed on the left, uncompressed on the right and the “non-Adobe-SDK” export in the middle, which looks correct)
I can’t seem to find any setting in RT to read these correctly, so I’m guessing this new(?) Adobe SDK isn’t implemented (yet?) in RT? It works fine in darktable and any other software I use.
I would love to see this work in RT. It’s my favourite raw processor. I can use darktable too, but I find it less intuitive.
