Do you mean processing in queue?
@Claes in general, don’t use CPU-intensive tools, and use “dedicated” fast export. You need to give more info if you want more specific advice.
No, I mean, for instance, switching from one photo to the next.
On my main Linux computer, I can switch much faster than
on the culprit machine (a Win 10). I believe that the discussion here might be what is bothering the culprit, i.e. GTK3 vs. GTK2.
Have fun!

Check whether Profiled lens correction
is collapsed.
Switching using F3/F4 in SETM or between open editors in METM?
Moin, Ingo!
Thanks for replying!
a) SETM
b) Profiled Lens Correction = collapsed.
c) F4/F3 = slow, about 9 seconds.

@Claes Please set verbose= true
in your options

@heckflosse Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
For what it is worth: here is a swift comparison.

Good morning, @heckflosse
I have been speed-testing on another Win 10-based computer, which, among other things, reported that…
trying to load extra working spaces from C:\Program Files\RawTherapee\5.4-410-gab22b6b4d.\iccprofiles\workingspaces.json FAIL
trying to load extra working spaces from C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\drivers\color\workingspaces.json FAIL
Are the failures of any importance?
