After installing 5.8 raw images are not getting displayed properly

I installed RawTherapee 5.8. When open RAW files a black and green coloured high contrast display coming. I tried removing RawTherapee folder from .config files also deleted all the sidecar files.

I removed 5.8 and install 5.7, everything works fine.

5.8 only showing the issue.

I am attaching the screenshot how is it getting displayed in 5.8.
Tried reinstalling 5.8 many times.

Any help?
Thanks

Hi @Jaiju_Jacob

Please provide all details about your installation such as developpers can answer (see [How_to_write_useful_bug_reports])(How to write useful bug reports - RawPedia), at least:

  • what is your system? system version?
  • from where did you download your 5.8 version?
  • perhaps a test raw file

Sorry… I forgot to add the details.

Here is it.

I am using Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia. (Release Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia 64-bit - Kernel Linux 5.3.0-45-generic x86_64)
I downloaded the RawTherapee app image directly from http://rawtherapee.com (https://rawtherapee.com/shared/builds/linux/RawTherapee_5.8.AppImage).
5.7 also I downloaded the same way (5.7 works fine).

I am attaching the raw file here. This is taken using Canon EOS 60 D, and medium raw size option.
Please let me know whether any other details required.

I installed 5.7 again and all works fine. Problem is only with 5.8

Looks like:

https://github.com/Beep6581/RawTherapee/issues/5638

Already fixed upstream.

It opens correctly on W10/RT-dev-5.8-366-g310faf33e
Perhaps you can try the last appimage from:
https://github.com/Beep6581/RawTherapee/releases/tag/nightly

note: to name a non raw file m-raw is a curious canon quirk

Yes. Full RAW files opening correctly. Only medium RAW has this issue
