AI image tagging with A-Eye (free and open source)

I stumbled on this open source AI image tagger and it might be useful to some. Certainly to me with 1000s untagged images from whatsapp and whatnot.

I would love something like this in DigiKam! My photo hoster (CEWE) has a great model for that, but doesn’t export it to the file system.

My plan is to set it up and work my Synology Photo folders from outside (A mini PC next to my NAS).

It can create (or read, add to) XMP, or store it directly in the images (so it says, it just started to work for me now and the weather is too nice to stay on it right now - and since it seems to work I need that break).
