I was pointed to the web site of Alexandre Deschaumes today. He clearly gets out to some epic locations, and I personally find myself liking his editing style.
Quite interesting color grading. Somehow I like it, but sometimes it seems to be a little too much.
Yeah, in some shots it’s definitely heavy handed (I would not be comfortable going that far myself). But he definitely creates mood.
Wow; impressive portfolio for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Had a brief look through the Alps collection and the Nature photos…definitely an impressive portfolio. I also like the editing style.
Not sure if it’s because I’m using Firefox but the website is horribly slow and not working well for me. Going into a collection and using the scroll wheel makes everything go haywire. I don’t have time for fancy websites. I wish it was just a simple portfolio of pictures so I could comfortably browse.
I’m using Firefox too. I had no problems, but I didn’t use the scroll wheel to navigate. I just looked again now, and using the scroll wheel seems (for me) to cause the images to alternately appear on one side or the other of the screen. When I use the navigation arrows, everything is properly centered. I agree that simplicity is usually best.
