All,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to force darktable to always overlay the “reject” and “star ranking”, instead of only when mouse-hover over the image. Only interested in this behavior in the lighttable view.
Looking through the settings I don’t see this option, but maybe I’m missing it?

I knew the windows port would be evil, but that’s too much: darktable inherited a “Start” button from windows?

Still cannot understand why to press start to shut down the machine, the main reason why I switched to Linux

You don’t actually shut down the computer, you start the shutdown 
After all those years in darkness, now I understand .
