Am I being thick? How do I choose a custom location for tethering in Darktable?

By default, Darktable will store photos from a tethering session in /home/pictures, but I want to set it to a different folder on another drive and I couldn’t find a way to to this.

I tried changing the import folder in the Lighttable module, as per the documentation, but it still saves photos in Pictures.

Also how do I get Live View to work? I click the eye icon but nothing happens.

Help?

Does your camera have live view support in gphoto2? That’s what darktable uses for tethering.

I don’t know, how do I check? I use a Sony a6000.

Doesn’t seem like live view is supported for your camera.
