Android apps for editing and managing images?

Having kids means less time to sit down in front of the computer for editing, and I’ve found myself doing more and more of my post-processing on the phone, mostly using Polarr, which I’ve found to be a quite powerful yet quick tool for photo editing, and more recently Saulala, which has superior handling of RAW files, either alone or together with Polarr (which isnt FOSS, but it’s so convenient I’ve actually decided to pay for subscription).

I’m using an external SSD together with an SD card reader for the setup, and I save the images the SSD, so I can continue the work on my laptop if I wish to. I use File Manager + app to browse images on the SD card, because it’s pretty fast even with the huge RAWs from the A7riii and also good at rendering the RAW files. It’s not convenient for copying files to the SSD though.

Anyone else who does editing on your Android phone, and has any suggestions for useful apps?

For some reason, it’s limited to a few devices (I cannot install it on my OnePlus phone, but could on a much older and less capable Samsung tablet).

Snapseed is free and popular.
Google Photos too.
Radiant Photo (if I remember correctly, basic features are free, custom edits require a subscription or purchase ($4 / month, $30 / year or $50 for lifetime). Radiant Photo Mobile - Radiant Imaging Labs (I used to have a licence for their older application, Perfectly Clear, purchased 10 years ago, but that’s no longer available).

I don’t have experience with others.

And works well with blocked network access in GrapheneOS. :slightly_smiling_face:

Grab it with Aurora Store if you’ve deGoogled.
