Hello. I took a photo of Jupiter and it’s moons with my telescope. Is there a way to annotate the moons the same way we do for other space objects? Regards
Hi @Manny224 I’ve seen them shown as Jupiter I through IV (and beyond…) for the main (smaller) moons… but this I find is from a wiki, and although well referenced, not peer reviewed. Have you searched scientific literature for some ideas/nomenclature?
Hello Scha. No, I did not search for scientific literature. I hopped there was a catalog I could upload to Siril that could help identify or be able to annotate Jupiter’s moons. The same way I do with other space objects. Thanks
