ART and new camera raw [solved]

How can you develop the RW2 of a reasonably one year old Panasonic Lumix S5 ii with ART?
When I load such an RW2, it looks like this:

Here is the original file:
P1010086.RW2 (31.0 MB)

I can only edit the photo if I convert the original into a DNG using Adobe’s DNG converter.

How do you do this with new cameras?

Just link against the latest version of libraw from github:

Or wait for a new release of ART if you don’t want to build it yourself

Oh, wonderful that ART can process this file.

Have you made it work now? The version: ART-1.21.2 cannot do it yet.

When will it work with the official version?

I’m asking because I’m now faced with the choice of buying the older Panasonic S5, which is already very well supported by ART, or the newer S5ii. The question would be how long I would have to take the detour via Adobe DNG converter.

I suppose I could make a quick release 1.20.3 with the new libraw. I’ll see what I can do

It’s incredible what you do for ART and for us users.

With version, ART-1.21.3-linux64, the RW2 (from Lumix S5 ii and G9 ii) can be worked out as normal - thank you very much.

Today there was already an update of ART to version 1.21.3 at Manjaro Linux - great!
