Hi. I’ve tried many versions of ART from 1.25.11 to 1.26.4 and all could not detect files and folders from an external drive source. It sees the Volume but after clicking it, no folders nor file from that Volume shows up within the ART’s File Browser tab. BUT I’m able to access the files through my MacOS Finder window. I’m using MacOS Monterey 12.5. The things that I tried are (1) Changing the Volume name without including special characters to no avail; (2) Rebooting my Macbook Air M1 — Both to no avail.
Hoping anyone could provide a solution to this case. Thank you.
Make sure the file extension for your camera is checked in the preferences, and make sure ART has permission to read the external disk.

Hi @paperdigits . Yes. All the extensions are checked. At least thru ART, it just recognizes the volume, but not the contents themselves. But Finder recognizes everything.
It is still possible that ART has no access to the volume, although in this case MacOS should raise a pop up window asking to grant permission to access the filesystem.
I think that these settings can be changed in System Settings → Privacy & Security → File & Folders
See if ART appears in that applications list and which folders it has access to. Try to remove it from that list and relaunch it so that you have another dialog window asking for granting permissions.
Also, do you mind if I ask you why are you using a MacOS version which is no longer supported by Apple, not even for security updates?
