ART processing - LUT vs own process

Hi all,

As a learning exercise for ART, I’m doing my own processing to create an image similar using the Fujifilm Velvia LUT (LUT from Fuji Film Simulation Profiles – Stuart Sowerby)

Attached are images using the LUT and from my own processing.

I seen to be using a lot of modules to get a similar result to the LUT and I think the LUT looks better.

I’m after some help and advice on how I can achieve a similar look to the LUT please.

Hi,
I started from your arp with the LUT, and replaced it with Tone Curves, Color Equalizer and a bit of Soft Light. Not identical but maybe close enough?

Your image looks very good and it’s very helpful and exactly what I was after.

I thought the answer might be via the Tone Curves and I need to look at Color Equalizer and Soft Light as they aren’t something I’ve used before.
