Here is my attempt with the tone equalizer. It does not look good. I added a vector mask by drawing a path. I’m not level yet - mask + guided filter

It is very difficult to achieve this kind of strong drama without artifacts. This is art not photo editing .

Nice exercise, thanks, I had a bit of fun :-).
Personally, I used the “graduated density” module for the sky and the “retouch” module for the burnt part.
