I’ve just completed a first run through using ASIAir Pro Autorun, and have a folder full of lights.
I’m trying to preprocess them, but out of interest wanted to know why Sirl will recognise the .fit file, give it the default Sirl icon, but not actually open the image?
Is there a way to get Sirl to open an ASIAir .fit file?
Also tried a Live Stack on the ASIAir and it created a .fit file, and of course Sirl won’t open it.
Any clues or ideas how to progress further please?
Siril recognizes all FITS files. No exception with ASIAir files that are standard FITS files.
If the extension is fits, then put fits in the Siril preferences however.
You probably mean that SIril cannot build a sequence. This is because the files don’t match the needed pattern: basename_xxx.fit (where xxx is number).
This is why Siril will symlink FITS file if the option is checked.
