Autumn colours at a small scale

Not too happy with this, I thought I had got the depth of field right, but the focus isn’t as good as I wanted.

It is one of a set of shots walking up to the top bridge at the Falls of Bruar.

Morning, Colin,

I just made a very, very small addition to your xmp:

Better or not? That is the question…

Have fun!

Quite challenging cloning out the wire. I think lowering exposure and overall darkening the image helps here, even if not true to reality. Really makes the green and orange pop a lot more and feel more rich.

vkdt for fundamental processing: scooch around the shadows and highlights, save to JPEG, rawproc to rotate upright (vkdt didn’t handle the Orientation:8 tag), then save to JPEG and into GIMP to clone/heal the pesky power line:

(tried to upload the vkdt .cfg file, not one of the authorized extensions…)
