Follow-up: Just for fun — same model but treated differently in dt’s color balance module. In this case, I made the blacks warmer and the highlights yellowish.
The second one looks more “monochrome” than b&w . Interesting experiments. I often add some blue to the shadows and red to the highlights to make the image look somehow more b&w than an actual grayscale image. Fore exampe here.

Agfa Brovira, which gave a neutral to cold black, while
Agfa Record-Rapid was warm black…
