Haven’t done B&W much over the last few years. This was a location I saw last week and wanted to check it out with my camera was actually checking it out for a sunset/sunsrise session. Only having 14mm widest really sucks compared to when I had the 7-14/8//18mm lenses.
I made it in time just for the sun to come out from behind the clouds, it was behind me. You really need good light to get good landscape B&W conversions. Even with HDR with out lots of sunlight it’ll still not look good if it was just an overcast day with the sunlight muted by clouds.
Edit This is a HDR conversion. WIll be playing with one of the image a little later to compare them.
