My EFS-35mm macro is my favorite lens. It gives such a perspective to macro shots, you are almost in the bread.

To my amazement, this image looks great with only the export profile tone curve, no filmic, basecurve, etc. In rawproc:
A bit of tone curve, denoising, colorize, and contrast equalizer.
Nice shot - it makes me want to eat it.

using colour balance rgb to create contrast and then a monochrome interpretation with colour calibration module. No masks needed. Edited solely in darktable 3.8
