I did a lot of operations, but I’m not sure how much I accomplished. I love the floor and the curtains. I tried to keep some of the shadow in the curtains. dt 4.8.1

dt and GIMP:
a further version (GMIC Pencil Portrait):
I made the shadows too bright. Btw, the red embayments are built of stone
I have a coloured version as well. I don’t know, something is pushing me on this picture to over exaggerate on every try.
And every time I have the bad feeling to generate some Nazi or imperial Aesthetics.
Sorry for that. I will try further.
“I see,” said the blind man.
Ok last try. I’m not sure, if this is a good render or not. At least it looks not that pathetic anymore even so, it has as well not much todo with reality.

Oh, going there (the city) soon!
To avoid an overdose I did not show a photo where the inscripture on the floor is readable
Nevertheless, the inside of this hall is really impressing and worth a visit.
I think it has to be said, that the Befreiungshalle has nothing to do with the Third Reich. It was built before Hitler was born (1842 -1863).
It was built to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon’s armies in Europe. Of course, the intention behind it is very patriotic. It was commissioned by the Bavarian King Ludwig I, the grandfather of the better-known Ludwig II
I think Illuminati.
