I’m a programmer by profession and I specialize in performance optimization and low level hardware details. I’m super interested in contributing to Siril but I’m not sure where to start. Is there a list of “easy” bugs or issues to tackle?
I work primarily on my Intel based MacBook Pro so I’d be able to see more macOS issues as well.
Hi, we just released 1.0.0, the open issues list is not up to date. We are thinking about what to do next, but priorities haven’t been set and tickets not yet created on gitlab.
The slowest operations are image calibration and registration. Maybe accelerating star detection would be good, but risky. You may work in the branch siril-1.1 for latest performance updates.
