Love it!
Nice one! Color and black and white following. I kept them a little darker than many others.
Thank you! This was a hot and bright day, so the brightness feels fairly natural to me. I am curious why you made it darker, though.
I guess it’s mostly because the whole scene is in the shade. So I wanted to keep a hint of the bright sunshine in a corner of the sky and maintain a natural relationship with the shaded areas. Also, I think the reflections in the car’s paint and chrome details look more natural this way.
In the black and white version, I felt a bit more unrestricted since I cropped out the sky, so I could brighten the car more by using mostly the blue channel.
When I load your sidecar I get a color image with no framing.
Hi @Underexposed
Framing is done by the export module usinfg a specific darktable style and it’s not recorded within the sidecard
You can get it at Dropbox - JM_cadre_fin.dtstyle - Simplify your life
@Underexposed
I don’t know why you can’t get the BW version of the photo
I posted the right version (3) on my dev

Thank you, this sounds very reasonable.
@hpbirkeland
I’m curious as to how you picked your final color calibration settings. It appears you just set it by your own eye.
You mean white balancing for the colour version? I used the colour picker on the white wall above the right half of the window and then backed off the chroma slider a little bit.
