Today I tasked myself with capturing moments of my sunday with my son on our men-only-weekend as the wife is out of the house. This is my breakfast (standard issue on the weekends: Bun with honey, one with cream cheese and blueberry jam). I learned a lot from you guys in other playraws about controlling colours and local contrast. It is by far an artistic masterpiece but I found it fun to play with the colours here.
We used to have aa mug almost exactly like that (it was my son’s when he was a kid). Based on my memory of that mug, you nailed the hue and saturation! It might be a tiny bit blue/washed, as it should have picked up a little of the color from the placemat…but this is splitting hairs imo. Great job
OK Popanz; haven’t done a real still life if quite a bit (consentrate on found object art). Why not blend some DAP with FotoSketcher and more than a few G’MIC tricks, and voila. lol
