Bridge Under Troubled Waters

(with apologies to Simon & Garfunkel)

I wanted to try out my new-to-me Canon EF24-70 f/4L IS USM today so I went out regardless of the dull grey overcast and flat light. I think I’m going to like this lens (obviously or I wouldn’t have bought it!) but it was hardly an acid test today.

To quote Top Gear, “Still… could be worse.”

I see no one (me included!*) has tried to get rid of that disc golf garbage against the background tree. LOL

* I did (semi-successfully) obscure the truck behind the trees on the left side, but it’s clear something was done once you’re aware of it.

I also tried the B + W route, but without removing the saturation. I wanted to try using a different method by fiddling about with the colour zones and calibration module. Sorry, still no accompanying data from me until I’ve read through the threads on how to attach data files with my pics.

You should be able to just click the upload button:

and select the .xmp file from the same folder as your raw file.
Browsers can do funny things sometimes though.

Really like the version of @dqpcoxeas and I’m hesitating to even post my smartphone optimized version

I went by three days later and it was all high and dry. Go figure, such is life in the swamp I guess.
